 | | title: | Santa Fe Adobe with Dunes |
| gen. notes: | This is a doorway of an adobe building in Santa Fe, NM. With bell and long shadows. The blue sky and dunes in the background were not in the original scene, but they seem to go well together. (At least the earth tone tan browns go well against the blue sky and blue-gray doorway.) The dune background was from an earlier shot in Great Sand Dunes National Monument near Alamosa, CO. |
| photo edit notes: | The photo editing was not done with Photoshop. I had not yet bought the Adobe software. It was done with Ulead Photo Express. The layering and selection tools were not as sophisticated as Photoshop's, but the basics were there and it worked. I recall that I had to use some paintbrush smoothing of the edges around the selected cut and pastes in order to make the image look "real". |
