S-Curves on Prairie

Taken on a hot air balloon ride southeast of Colorado Springs. The color and texture of the prairie and arroyos from above fascinated me. This cockeyed shot was composed for the aesthetics of the curvy arroyo. At full scale, one can see plow marks and terracing of some sort - it is lost at scale shown here.

photo edit notes:

I took liberties with the color adjustment to accentuate a purplish shadow and hyper-contrasted the radial markings on the land.
